HI THERE!
Growing up my mom had a rule for me and my brothers: we had to be enrolled in at least one arts activity. I tested the ropes in lots of areas; From drawing, painting, dance, knitting, clarinet, guitar, I finally landed on musical theatre when I was 12 years old and I haven't stopped since. I've always loved the way language and music can combine to really expand the way we experience the world. Of all the arts, theatre is where I truly found community.
I recently graduated with my BFA in Music Theatre from Illinois Wesleyan University where I learned to embrace the spectrum of wacky ingenue that I live within. Some select IWU credits include: Sunday in the Park with George (Dot), The Fantasticks (Luisa), and Heroes of the Fourth Turning (Teresa).
I reside in Chicago, IL. When not on stage, you can find me running around the loop as a Marketing Assistant with Broadway in Chicago and the Illinois High School Musical Theatre Awards. Off the clock, you can also catch me sprinting towards a sunset in hopes of capturing it with my little Canon camera, baking treats with my friends, or journaling!
So far this year, I've been lucky enough to work on a handful of productions; I was in the Ensemble of A Bronx Tale at Surging Films and Theatrics, I spent the summer in Cripple Creek, Colorado spelling as Logainne SchwartzandGrubenierre in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee with Chameleon Arts and Entertainment, and spent a few weeks back on LBI, NJ as a Singing Waitri at the ShowPlace Ice Cream Parlor with Surflight Theatre.
I'm currently tackling my first ever swing track! I am covering #2, #8, and #46 in
The Wolves with No Dogs in the Kitchen. You can catch the show December 6th-15th at City Lit Theater! I'm also working as a Performance Associate at CAMP Chicago for their immersive Bluey show and Santa meet-and-greets!
